About the Role

You'll be working on the successful development of web and software solutions for Switch and its clients, whilst pitching in on other projects with our growing team of developers.

To apply for this position you will require a minimum of three years development experience with proven ability in deploying solutions predominately using the .NET framework including ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server on Sitecore.

You will play a crucial role in the on-going development of our Sitecore projects and on top of this you will get to liaise with our other staff members and clients as you develop scalable solutions from architecture through to delivery. We expect this role to grow into a team lead capacity.

What Are We Looking For?

As the successful applicant, you will need to have :

  • Collaborative approach for development with a can-do attitude
  • Proven agency experience working on commercial Sitecore projects
  • Excellent ASP.net (C#) Experience
  • Excellent ASP.net (Web Forms) Experience
  • Excellent SQL Experience (particularly Microsoft SQL Server) (design, development and optimisation)
  • Experience developing and customising Content Management Systems
  • Comfortable working around HTML/CSS templates
  • Strong problem solving skills and initiative for continuous improvement
  • Awesome communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Dealing with deployment (pushing changes from staging into a production environment)
  • University Degree or TAFE level equivalent is desirable, we'll also look favourably if you've managed other developers

We would also look favourably upon the following :

  • Quick learner
  • Experience with AWS - EC2, S3, Cloudfront, IAM
  • Good understanding of General Windows Administration
  • Good understanding of Network Configuration and Administration
  • Ability to work as part of a team and / or autonomously
  • Top notch time management skills
  • Capacity to move between different platforms, programming languages and frameworks (experience with Umbraco CMS development is a plus)
  • Casual, pleasant personality and a great sense of humour

This role will at times be client facing, so excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are absolutely essential.
